Only cash contributions?
MAATRAM accepts donations of all kinds, including cash, in-kind, and even volunteering time and expertise. That said, as most of our programs require financial capital to be distributed to schools nationwide, it is simpler, faster and cheaper logistically for us to manage cash donations.
Where do MAATRAM mainly channels the fund?
MAATRAM mainly focuses on infrastructure development for Sekolah Bantuan Modal Tamil vernacular schools that doesn’t get financial help from the government to operate. These schools usually are financially impaired, lack infrastructures and resources, and are running bare-bone operations for their local community.
Our first choice to empower are these schoolsso they can focus on their main job- teaching our next generations!
That said, we also support all Tamil vernacular schools with nationwide programs, assistance and support.
